The Canossian Youth meet JWALA 24 was a momentous event that brought together approximately 350 youth with their sisters in charge from 15 communities across 5 regions -Kannur, Ernakulam, Alleppey, Kollam and Trivandrum. This gathering marked the culmination of the 250th birth anniversary celebrations of St. Magdalene of Canossa, the founder of the Canossian congregation.
Youth Meet - IGNITE k'2024
The “Youth Meet – IGNITE K’2024 was a resounding success, held as a dynamic one-day event inaugurated by Rev. Dr. Alex Vadakkumthala, Bishop of Kannur. Organized by KCBC in collaboration with the Canossian Fathers and Sisters, where the celebration honored the 250th birth anniversary of St. Magdalene of Canossa. With around 600 participants along with priests and religious from the Kannur-Irritty Forane.The day was marked by music, value orientation sessions and vibrant activities conducted by the Downtown Disciples Band and culminated by solemn Holy Eucharist.

Mega youth Convention first day was organised by Canossian Fathers and Sisters of Delegation participated by more than 1000 youth of the diocese of Srikakulam. The day ended with solemn Eucharistic Celebration in honour of St.Magdalene of Canossa’s 250th birth anniversary.
