On 5th June 1983, a chubby little babe was born in a new school building. The babe’s parents were St. Joseph’s Convent, Alleppey and Mary Immaculate Canossian Province, Bangalore. God had a mighty plan for this little babe, and that the baby will grow up to be a fine young lady, thousands of children will benefit by the training for life and living she would give them and register all round development under the maternal care. St. Joseph’s LPS was the first school in the town of Alleppey to begin English Medium classes.
Apart from the school activities the sisters fulfil their mission to the people of God by getting involved in all the pastoral activities such as Sunday School, BCC, Franciscan Family Apostolate, Jail Ministry, Women Empowerment and the like which would help the people of the locality to live lives useful to themselves and to the society around.
